We check it against your state board and confirm it is current and in good standing. We re-check it before it expires, so the badge on your profile keeps meaning something.

Therapist membership
Separate from the member plans, and not tiered: every therapist gets the same membership. Your license is verified with your state board before the profile goes live, and if the license or the membership lapses the listing comes down on its own.

What is Theraglee Match Mode?
A switch members can turn on to let verified therapists reach out to them. When a member has it on, you see a short anonymous line on your dashboard: their gender, age, the topics they want help with, whether they want in-person or telehealth sessions, and their zip code. Something like "Male, 39 · seeks help with anxiety · seeking in-person sessions". You can send them a message through Theraglee. If they choose to reply, the reply carries their real name, and you can write back to arrange a first session. You never see their email, their journal, or anything else they have written. Members can turn it off at any time, and your listing has to be live before you can reach out.
